I'd like to believe all these interactive games are going to destroy gaming. Its fun for the right audience, but you can't completely remove controllers.
You have to have some buttons, pure motion control is stupid. Look at the Forza Kinect E3 demo. All you do is move your hands left and right to control the wheel. You don't control the gas, the brakes or the gear shifting. People who want a serious racing simulator are going to want full control over their car. People that just want a casual racing game will pick up something more fun like Mario Kart.

ReplyDeleteI don't see it being successful at all.
I am excited for Kinect. But I think it will take a while for the good games to get made because it is a new technology.
ReplyDeleteCan't see anything but cool
ReplyDeleteI think the playstation move is going to win over the connect. A controller just allows you to do more!
ReplyDeleteVideo games are made to be played sitting down, or standing up in front of a cabinet lol.
ReplyDeletelooks a lot like a wii to me, I prefer old games with a classic game pad...
